Read-only access
We only request “read-only” access when connecting your APIs. It is impossible for us to perform any action on your accounts.
Encrypted data
Your API keys, addresses, and wallets are encrypted in our database using Amazon KMS. Your data is secure on your Waltio account and during communications between our tool and your accounts.
Password and two-factor authentication
Your password is encrypted and hosted on Auth0 to prevent password leaks and external attacks. Additionally, we allow every user to set up two-factor authentication (2FA), which adds an extra verification step during login.
Your data hosted securely
Our entire infrastructure is hosted by the global leader AWS, whose security standards are among the highest in the world.
No KYC (Know Your Customer)
We only require your email address and tax residency to apply the appropriate calculation method. We do not ask for any other confidential data (name, first name, tax identification number, etc.).
No sharing of your data with third parties
We do not sell (and will never sell) your data to third parties. Ever.
Account and data deletion
Deleting your account will permanently delete all your data (wallets, exchanges, trade histories). This deletion is irreversible.
No requests for tax payment
Waltio helps you calculate and declare your crypto taxes. Under no circumstances can Waltio ask you to pay the amount owed to the tax authorities.
No private keys or personal information
Waltio will never ask for your private key or personal information.
A unique security code in each email
At the bottom of all our emails, you will find a unique code for each user composed of 12 words. If you have any doubts about the origin of an email, verify that this code is present and matches the one assigned to your account in your Profile and Preferences.
No communication by phone
We do not initiate phone calls. The same applies to social media. You can contact our Care team via email at hello@waltio.com or through the chatbot on the website.
